Dr. Edwards graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1978. Undergraduate work was completed at Oklahoma University, Central State University, and Baylor. He is fully licensed in Texas as a 'therapeutic optometrist' and an 'optometric glaucoma specialist' which allows treatment of several eye diseases and conditions with oral and eyedrop pharmaceutical grade drugs.
Interests outside the work environment include international travel, boating, ham radio, and country western dancing.
